🚨 INTERIORS UNWELL

Episode: The Royal Flush
There are bathrooms. There are luxurious bathrooms.
And then there are bathrooms that appear to require a small processional ceremony before use.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: THE ROYAL FLUSH.

At first glance, there is a lot to appreciate here.
The commitment to mosaic tile? Unwavering.
The color palette? Fearless.
The symmetry? Almost liturgical.
The raised platform? Ah. Now we have entered another realm entirely.
Because apparently, at some point during the design process, someone looked at an ordinary toilet and thought: “No. This deserves elevation.” Not metaphorically. Literally.
And so the toilet and bidet were promoted.........Up several tiled steps.......Onto what can only be described as a sanitary stage.
A porcelain throne, finally receiving the architectural recognition it has long demanded. Please also appreciate the choreography required. You do not simply “go to the bathroom” here. You ascend. You approach. You arrive. Possibly to applause.
And the lighting! Bright enough to ensure that every grout line, every mosaic tile, and every deeply personal life choice is fully illuminated.
From a design standpoint, I have questions. From a safety standpoint, I have even more.
But from a theatrical standpoint? No notes.
This is not a bathroom. This is a performance venue with plumbing.
The craftsmanship appears committed. The concept appears confident.
The toilet has better staging than most keynote speakers.
And I cannot stop thinking about the person who first proposed the platform.
Was the brief: “Make it luxurious”? “Give the toilet presence”? “Create a spa-like experience”?
Or simply: “I want every bathroom visit to feel like a coronation.”
