2824 Vallejo I Quiet Architectural Drama

A study in warm modern restraint, this interior concept explores architectural rhythm through natural materials, sculptural lighting, and thoughtful spatial composition. The design balances drama with livability, creating spaces that feel calm, layered, and intentionally curated. Vertical wood slat detailing establishes a quiet cadence throughout the open main level, while soaring ceilings and natural light enhance the sense of volume. The kitchen anchors the home with custom cabinetry and a monolithic island designed for both everyday living and entertaining. A dedicated office on the main level introduces a more intimate moment within the open plan, while the primary suite upstairs continues the home’s atmosphere of quiet retreat. The lower-level lounge extends the design language with a relaxed lounge and custom wet bar, accompanied by a private bedroom and flexible gym space. To create cohesion throughout the home, key elements are repeated and reinterpreted across different spaces. Vertical slats, custom millwork, and mural moments appear in varying applications, allowing each room to feel distinct while still connected to the larger design narrative.
